Genguvarpatti is an infrastructural underdeveloped village, sited close to the heart of India’s green valley, Kodaikanal. The village is a culturally rich and has exotic heritage and is endowed with unparalleled natural beauty. We can find the people of most cultured and self-esteem high here.
It has a great nature with mountains and forests. Forests are located on this mountainous region and those beautiful forests make my village green. Even the rabbits come out their hiding places and enjoying the silence of the green valleys here.
Simply put Muthalamman temple is a must visit location for anyone even remotely interested in nature, history and culture & traditions of the state.The annual festival on the Muthalamman temple will be celebrated in the day of April every year. The festivities go on for almost 3 days and we can see the festival celebrated with great pomp here.
